Recovering.......
I had surgery last Monday the 2nd, nothing serious, just something I needed to have done. Fred has been at home taking care of me for going on a week and a half now. I have a follow up appointment with my Dr today at 3, will be the first time I've left the house in 8 days! To say I'm a bit stir crazy would be an understatement, I need the outdoors, I need to drive, I need to go to the park and watch the kids play. Without going into too much gross detail, I have had drainage tubes for the last 8 days, I'm praying they are able to take them out today, will make a huge difference in my attitude if they are gone!
Nothing much going on but we did manage to see dh's brother the day of my surgery, he just happened to be in town. F ordered pizza and they got to spend sometime together before brother left for Austin the next day. I was in bed upstairs but F had brother come upstairs for a sec to say hi, glad we were able to figure something out sense F couldn't leave me that day. Speaking of F ,he's taking good care of me, the kids, and the house. I've enjoyed watching him dust, do dishes, make me dinner, clean the bird cages, rabbit cage, and so on. I told him it's made my recovery much easier to take
Hope to be back to regular blogging and homeschooling within a week or so, just didn't want you guys to think I'd fallen off the face of the earth

Happy recovery. Hope you continue to heal at a fast pace...and there's always JULY for catching up on homeschooling.

OH man....drains..the dreaded drains...my daughter had them once....icky! I am so sorry to hear this..I"m sure your glad it's over with and on the way to recovery. Hang in there...Sorry I don't live next door...I'd teach the kiddo's and cook you dinner...Lasagna, indian food, chicken soup...what's your pleasure? Praying for your speedy recovery!

Hope you have a fast recovery. I'm glad it sounds like the surgery was nothing serious-- although surgeries are to some degree. Praying for you!
