Bye Bye 2008
Wow, I started a Year in Review with pictures and, well I just got carried away. One thing I'm sure of is that I took more pictures in 2008 than any other year I can remember. I almost decided I didn't want to bore you with pictures most of you have already seen but then I thought, well they don't HAVE to look
Although I can guarantee a surprise if you pay close attention, something I did this year that only one of you know's about (Kat)
Pay close attention though as i won't draw attention to it, you'll just have to find it! Let me know if you figure it out, some of you will be shocked, some of you who know me in real life..... maybe not so much
2008 was one of our best years as a family, for several different reasons, or maybe no reason at all, this year saw us grow closer as a family. 2008 saw Fred and I grow closer as a couple, I love my family with all my heart and look forward to spending lots of time making lots more memories with them in 2009. So without further ado, here are some of my favorite 2008 moments.
Birthday's and celebrations.....
Tony turned 22 and graduated from St. Marys. Trey turned 10 and Savannah turned 4.
Vacations and destinations.....
We visited Tony at his new apartment in Houston for a couple days this summer, then we spent 4 days in Galveston (our first time there) just before Ike changed the landscape there for ever.
This picture of Fred makes me laugh every time I see it, we were in SC moving my Mom's things into the back of a U-haul, we were both about to die! I didn't notice the "sign" on the wall until later.
We took a few weekend trips this summer to Houston, Galveston, and Austin and then a Huge vacation out west in October. We also took a week long trip to SC to close on my Mom's house and move her things to TX. We traveled more in 2008 than in the two years prior put together.
Just some fun moments of 2008.....
It's hard to tell but she's playing in the rain, she's happy, not mad

Christmas 2008 pic's
Extended Family.....
My Mom sold her house after a little over a year on the market and bought a house 1.7 miles from us in a nice little gated subdivision. My brother moved here about 3 months ago, it's nice to have family close after so many years of living 1200 miles apart.
My Mom's new house, outside and inside.

Well that's my Year in Review, hope I didn't bore you too much and I hope if I did you at least found out my secret of 2008
Were you shocked? He was!
maybe I'll explain the story behind it later. I hope you all have a safe and fun end of 2008 and a Wonderful and Blessed 2009. We're celebrating at home tonight around the New Years tree. For those of you who wanted to see pic's, here it is. This was my first year doing the New Years tree, the kids loved it and Dh even commented on it, it's a tradition that'll stick
I took all the Christmas trees down except this one, I'll let the kids grab some party favors from the tree tonight and by mid afternoon tomorrow this one will be down too

I'm shocked!!!!!!! and I knew about it. What I'm shocked about is that I'm still up @ 11:30 on the computer
Happy New Year!!!!!!!!
did you get inked????
@TheEmptyNursery - I did
I actually got a small rose tattoo on my ankle when I was 19 and dumb.... I've always felt like it didn't have any meaning, just a stupid thing I did, so I added Fred's name just under it
People were shocked, Fred was most shocked and the comment above yours is my mom's *lol* she was shocked. At least now it has meaning, kwim?
LOL I was looking hard and when I came to the tattoo I said that's gotta be it, lol. Happy New Year!
Fun pictorial of 2008! Wish I had a computer I could do one on ....I'm still relegated to The Man's laptop. A fix is in the works. Cute tattoo too! I'd never have the nerve!
