Stick a fork in me….. I’m done!!
Surprised my Mom today, spent 3 hours at her house while she was at work, cleaned her house from top to bottom. She called my cell a couple times while I was at her house but had no idea I was there, think she was pretty excited to walk into a nice clean house. She’s working full time and going to school 3 nights a week and she still watches the kids for us at least once a month, I may start doing it every Monday. Her house is small, so I’m pretty sure I could clean the whole thing in about an hour, took me a little longer today but I spent extra time on her bathroom floor. Other than that….. we had a slow 1st day back with homeschooling, slow but still a good day. I cleaned here a bit, watered my grass and now I’m pooped. Think I’ll take some sleep aid and watch a little tv.
Hubby has an appointment tomorrow, something very out of character for him, people will be shocked. I’ll share more next time

how nice of you to clean for your mom!!! What type of homeschool schedule do you follow? When do you transition grades?
@MommyinChrist - we homeschool year round and take breaks whenever I need them *lol* works best for us that way. We transition in March, long story but it works best for us that way, that’s not saying that by highschool we wont change things up so that he’s on schedulle to graduate with “his class”. How are you doing with hs-ing?
@homeschoolingthem - oh, it’s going. we took a lot of time off through the ‘school year’ so i’m feeling a bit overwhelmed right now to be caught up before sept.
@MommyinChrist - are you in TX? I forget. Don’t sweat it, your kids are young, you’ve got plenty of time to catch up!

Wish I could do the year-round hs. Too many public school friends around here..we’rehaving A good summer break though. San Francisco today!! Your a good daughter….I can tell! So good to see you around again.
@toomanyhats - part of the reason we do the year round thing is too avoid kids here ALL day. They know they have to give us until 1 during the summer
