and I can’t stop, I don’t know if I want to stop.  Well I want to stop but I’m having a hard time, I love my husband but he just doesn’t “get it”  Pumpkins are my life  That’s right, I said Pumpkins.    (i know at least one person who reads who probably just thought she’d hit the jackpot)   I’m addicted to facebook’s farmtown.  I need medical attention, I know this…. they say admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.  We’ll see, I’m not hopeful.

I’ve been a terrible xangan, I keep reminding myself that facebook is free and that hubby paid a pretty penny for my lifetime membership over here.  I think xanga needs a farmtown.  Anyway, not much of an update for now but I do have some pretty pic’s to share.  I promise to kick my addiction, soon, well as soon as I buy the mansion on farmtown…..  Until then….. some dress up fun and bubbles

Didn’t think I wanted to brave the crowd with the kids (they say it was close to 15,000) but Fred talked me into it, I’m glad he did!  San Antonio Tea party was shoulder to shoulder awesome! 

Glenn Beck hosted his show from our Tea Party which was held in front of the Alamo.  We heard, but couldn’t see, (too many heads in the way *lol*) Ted Nugent play the National Anthem, Janine Turner was also there.  It was a huge turn out, one of the bigger one’s in the country.  Mainstream media can try hard to portray the Tea Party as just a bunch of right wing loons but I think the numbers speak for themselves.  This was huge, I’m glad we took part as a family

Just don’t feel like putting the giveaway together this week but come hell or highwater I’ll have it ready next week.  I’m feeling some better, just dealing with some MASSIVE swelling.  Sorry I haven’t been around much and not updating much, thanks to you guys who have commented or left Private Messages.    I’m ok, just a slower recovery that I expected.  F is still being great, working from home whenever he can and taking me to all my post op appointments.  He’s cleaning, doing laundry, he even went out and bought Trey new sheets the other day that he desperately needed.  He and my Mom have been great, I’m on the upswing   Should be back to my old self shortly. 

Not yet, but hopefully by next Tuesday.  I’m still in recovery mode and just don’t feel like putting the post together with all the right links.  I’ll give you a couple of hints though.  Instead of 1, I get to give away 3.  This prize would come in handy for some summer fun with the kids, lots of outdoor stuff, as well as some yummy good you and the kids food!

Besides that, things are going well, I do have a slight issue with my healing, nothing big though and I’m feeling lots better.  Only thing I’m missing is my energy, I don’t think I ever realized how high my energy level was until now when I’m forced either by the Dr. or my own body to do a whole lot of NOTHING.  Those who do say a prayer that I’ll be my regular old somewhat anal self in no time at all  

Sorry I’m not visiting much right now but I just, well I just suck, I’m a bad xangan.  *lol*  But I promise to do better soon and this is going to be a FUN giveaway!

Happy 14th Anniversary to my Sweet Hubby, I love you!

I had surgery last Monday the 2nd, nothing serious, just something I needed to have done.  Fred has been at home taking care of me for going on a week and a half now.  I have a follow up appointment with my Dr today at 3, will be the first time I’ve left the house in 8 days! To say I’m a bit stir crazy would be an understatement, I need the outdoors, I need to drive, I need to go to the park and watch the kids play.  Without going into too much gross detail, I have had drainage tubes for the last 8 days, I’m praying they are able to take them out today, will make a huge difference in my attitude if they are gone!

Nothing much going on but we did manage to see dh’s brother the day of my surgery, he just happened to be in town.  F ordered pizza and they got to spend sometime together before brother left for Austin the next day.  I was in bed upstairs but F had brother come upstairs for a sec to say hi, glad we were able to figure something out sense F couldn’t leave me that day. Speaking of F ,he’s taking good care of me, the kids, and the house.  I’ve enjoyed watching him dust, do dishes, make me dinner, clean the bird cages, rabbit cage, and so on.  I told him it’s made my recovery much easier to take  

Hope to be back to regular blogging and homeschooling within a week or so, just didn’t want you guys to think I’d fallen off the face of the earth

Marathon cleaning is put on hold for a couple days due to a visit from Aunt Flo.  I’m just not in the mood, kwim?!  I’m maintaining and doing a little bit here and there but not enough to constitute before/after pic’s.  See you all when Aunt Flo leaves.
